Migration questions:

- How long should my passport be valid if I plan to study in Russia?

The validity period of the passport of a foreign citizen must be at least 18 months from the date of the expected date of entry into the territory of Russia for the purpose of training (for citizens from countries with a visa exchange with Russia). For foreign citizens of their countries, for whom visa-free entry to the territory of Russia is provided, we recommend that you have a passport validity period of at least 120 days. Before entering the territory of Russia, we recommend that you contact the appropriate institution in your country of permanent residence to obtain a passport with a longer validity period or to extend the validity of your existing passport.
